Shipping

I live in the US, how long will shipping take?

This is mostly determined by 2 factors, the items that you ordered, and the shipping method paid for. Most orders are downloaded and packed the following business day after they are placed. However, our mail carrier arrives quite early, so most orders that are packed on a given day are not always able to be shipped until the next day.

So if you order on a Tuesday, it will be processed and packed on Wednesday, and should be picked up and in the mail on Thursday morning.

At a Glance:

  • First Class Mail is a 3-4 day service for most of the US. Orders typically arrive in 7-10 days from the day the order is placed.

  • Priority Mail is a 2-3 day service for most of the US. Orders typically arrive in 5 days from the day the order is placed.

The Details:

What about international orders?

At this time we are not able to ship internationally, even to Canada. You should have seen a pop-up warning on the website when you first visited explaining in a little more detail.

Sadly, since the start of the pandemic, the reliability of United States Postal Service international shipping has tanked. In addition, the EU and UK passed laws required the collection of VAT and customs at the time of purchase rather than the time of delivery, and these new rules are too burdensome for a small, family owned business like Aradani.

We tried offering UPS International shipping, but quickly realized that UPS charges an exorbitant "brokerage fee" at the time of delivery.

Some international customers have let us know that they have had good success with Mailboxes, Etc. From Aradani's end, your order appears like any other domestic US order, and Mailboxes, Etc. handles all the international shipping, logistics, and customs on your behalf. Unfortunately we don't have any more information about how this works, but if you have a Mailboxes, Etc. nearby, you might want to reach out to them to inquire about how that all works.
